DESCRIPTION:Organized and hosted by Minnie Knych and a "multi-partisan" group of concerned citizens who describe the forum as a non-partisan event, open to the public to learn more about the County Council candidates for both San Juan Island (District 1), and Orcas Island (District 2), seats. \nEvent Outline Per Ms. Knych:\n\n    The event will be moderated by Dan Schwartz, retired merchant marine captain and pilot.\n    Each candidate will have 5 minutes to make an introductory statement.  \n    After candidates introduce themselves, the audience will ask questions.\n    Questions from audience will be written on note cards and read by moderator, Daniel Schwartz. \n    Answers to questions are limited to 2 minutes.\n    If a question is designated for a certain candidate, that person will answer first.  Then other candidates may respond to the question for 2 minutes.\n    The forum will end on or about 3:00 PM. \n\nTea and coffee will be available for an informal meet and greet at 3:15 PM\nMinnie  Knych\n(360) 472-1145\nknych@rockisland.com\n \nWe encourage high attendance by Kari supporters!
